Community Services Block Grant (CSBG)
What does the program do?
Provide case-management to assist low-income families with services from all available resources to help become self-sufficient.
Who benefits from the program?
All low-income families with special needs.
What areas/counties are covered by this program?
Brooks, Jim Wells and San Patricio Counties.
When does a person qualify for the program?
Applicants must apply and meet the federal poverty level of 125% or less to be eligible for services.
How does an individual enroll in the program?
Call for an appointment or visit our Central Office at 204 E. First St.; Alice, Texas 78332.
Additional information about the program:
CSBG services include: case-management, referrals, direct services, and leveraging with other TDHCA programs.
