CACOST BRIDGE Program

What does the program do?
Provides healthy marriage and relationship education workshops within a 5  county service area.

Who benefits from the program? 
Low income families having  child(ren) 0-5, pregnant women and their families

What areas/counties are covered by this program?
Aransas, Brooks, Jim Wells, Kleberg, and San Patricio     

When does a person qualify for the program?
Eligibility for participation in the BRIDGE Program is based on the poverty guidelines updated annually in the Federal Register by the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services and have a child that is age 0-5

How does an individual enroll in the program?
An individual may call a BRIDGE Staff member and complete the demographic intake form to ensure eligibility.  Educational workshops are provided year round.

Additional information about the program: 
Workshops, food, child care and transportation are provided to qualifying families at no charge.  The PREP Within Our Reach/ Within My Reach and Family Wellness Curricula are both research based and focus on communication skills, conflict resolution, and marital satisfaction education.  Research has proven there are many benefits for children, women, men, and communities in which workshops take place.
