Senior Service Program – Title III
What does the program do?
Provides nutrition services, including home-delivered meals or group meals served at Senior Centers and Nutrition Sites.
Who benefits from the program?
Area residents 60 years of age or older.
What areas/counties are covered by this program?
11 centers in 3 counties -Brooks, Jim Wells and San Patricio
When does a person qualify for the program?
At age 60
How does an individual enroll in the program?
Apply at any local CACOST Senior Center or request a home visit if home-bound.
Additional information about the program:
Information and assistance is provided to help the applicant obtain services available from other sources, both public and private. Transportation is also provided to clients to and from their home to attend the Senior Centers. Other transportation for medical, recreation and shopping/business transactions is provided as per scheduled at the local Senior Centers.

Hours vary at the local senior centers. Most centers are open only 5 hours daily, Monday thru Friday. |
